Key elements of the training
Engaging students in class - Why
Engaged students in class is the key to effective learning
The work of educators is responsible and challenging. They take successful steps to manage the learning process and relationships. The training builds on and complements the competencies of teachers to engage and motivate students in class.
The focus of the training are key aspects of positive education – building a positive learning environment, increasing the motivation to learn and the activity of students, supporting educators to cope with challenges in everyday work.
A common goal for teachers
To provide and train pedagogues how to use techniques for engaging students – games for the beginning and end of the class; roles in class, enabling expression and responsibility on the part of students; use of questions, individual and group tasks; scoreboard and other successful practices.
During the training, educators receive ready-to-use activities.
The effect on the students
The training provides an increase in students’ involvement in the learning process and an understanding of the “what I learn – how I can apply it – what it gives me” relationship.
At the end of the training, each teacher creates an individual plan with specific and ready-to-use steps to engage students in class.

The Interactive method
The practical task for completing the training is the application of practices for engaging students – at the choice of the teacher – within a month, tracking the success of the practice and a report on its use and improvement.
Each participant in the training contributes to colleagues through feedback, suggestions for improvements and innovations.
