Career guidance in the classroom
Career guidance is one of the most important components of education in the 21st century. Thanks to our author’s methodology and board game, we offer training as well as ready-to-use materials that can be used in the classroom.
The training is conducted in partnership with the Institute for Progressive Education and gives 2 credits. The training is suitable for teachers in grades 7 to 12.

Main goals of the training
The training “Career guidance in the classroom” aims to prepare educators to support their students in:
Methods of work during the training
Discussions on the problems that educators face and creating solutions for them;
Explaining the nature, principles and methods for career guidance, as well as what is their application in class – in the tutor group’s session or a class in a particular subject.
Providing ready-to-use activities that do not require prior preparation.
- The training is suitable for teachers in grades 6 to 12.

Additional benefits of training
During the training, individual cases of teachers are discussed. Teaching materials are provided so that each teacher can use them with his students in class without prior preparation. .
Learning objectives
The aim of the training is for teachers to support students to get to know themselves better, to get acquainted with different career paths and to make a connection between what they are learning and their career.

Training framework

Upon successful completion, a certificate for 2 credits is issued, which will be received at the end of January.

Each participant receives a set of career guidance activities in class, access to a platform with videos for professions, tests and activities to reveal talents and interests.
- 2 attendance days of 8 hours / 16 hours of independent assignment
The program
An independent task and remote work
The training continues with the performance of an independent task given by the organizers – 16 hours of remote work in total. The task is related to the application of techniques and tools for career guidance in class and is mandatory for obtaining a certificate.

The training organization is the Institute for Progressive Education. The trainers are from the Edu Compass Foundation, which has over 10 years of experience in career guidance and has an author’s methodology “My Career Path”. The methodology won first prize for an innovative method for career guidance of the European Innovation Network 2020, by Elitsa Kostova.
The career guidance methodology MY CAREER PATH has been recognized by the largest organization for entrepreneurship – Founders Institute London, and it has been presented at a number of international conferences.
