Part of the “My Career Path” program
An educational game and set of career guidance activities
Helps students broaden their picture of possible professions and career directions, explore real opportunities, and use information and AI critically when making decisions about their future.
Ready for classroom use with physical materials, student instructions, a teacher’s handbook and online resources.
Can be used as individual activities or as a complete set of career guidance gamified activities.

Young people often choose from the professions and paths they already know. And those are only a small part of what is possible.
“New Horizons” helps them look beyond the familiar.
Students explore professions, roles and changes in the world of work, and learn to find, compare and check information.
The goal is not one “right profession”, but more options – and the skill to explore them.
They learn to explore professions and roles, the skills required, the paths into them and the changes in the world of work.
They discover unfamiliar professions, roles and career paths, and new ways to pursue their interests.
They learn to search for, compare and check information from different sources.
They use AI for research, but learn to check its answers and not to accept them uncritically.
They connect new options with their own interests and strengths and judge which ones are worth exploring in more depth.
One of the biggest problems in career choice is that young people often choose from too small a set of familiar professions.
“New Horizons” widens that set.
Students explore questions such as:

In “New Horizons”, students learn to use AI not just to get answers, but to examine information critically.
They create an AI expert on a chosen profession, ask questions about the work and the skills it requires, then check specific claims against reliable sources and draw their own conclusions.
This way, AI becomes a research tool rather than a source of ready-made truths.
A ready-made career research kit you can use directly with students.

“New Horizons” can be used according to your time and goals.
Choose a specific career research activity and run it in roughly one lesson.
Combine activities depending on whether you want to focus on professions, different perspectives, trends or the critical use of information.
Students go through a deeper exploration of professions and opportunities, compare information and reach their own conclusions.
You don’t need to use every activity for the gamified activities to be valuable.
Students don’t get a list of “suitable professions”.
They research.
Across the activities, they:

Career guidance can easily turn into lists of professions, websites and information.
But information on its own is not guidance.
That’s why “New Horizons” teaches students to ask questions, research, compare and check.
They don’t just learn “what professions exist”.
They learn how to explore professions and opportunities on their own.

For the teacher
You get ready-made materials, a structure and clear instructions – no need to develop tasks or research professions yourself.
Students do the main work, while you organise the activities, guide the research and facilitate the discussions.
You don’t need to know every profession. Your role is to help students learn to explore their options for themselves.

“New Horizons” can be used as a stand-alone career guidance kit.
It is also the third of the four gamified activities in the “My Career Path” program:
1. In the Mirror World
Critical thinking, self-knowledge and decision-making
2. The Alchemist
Interests, talents, strengths and career directions
3. New Horizons
Career research, new opportunities and critical work with information and AI
4. The Architect
Values, goals and action
If students have already completed “The Alchemist”, they can use the Zones they discovered as a starting point for their research.
But “New Horizons” can also be used on its own.
Every kit includes: the physical materials for the relevant number of students; cards and working materials; activity instructions; a teacher’s handbook; an AI assistant; online resources.
After you place your order, we will contact you to confirm the kit, delivery and payment method.
