Why do the children you work with need so much discipline to learn? Why do you need so much willpower to endure? Because both of you are surviving in a system designed for obedience, not for transformation. And deep down you know—it cannot go on like this.

About the Book
“The Forgotten Art of Awakening — Calling, Resilience, and Mastery for Teachers” is not just another book of pedagogical techniques. It is a manifesto for an internal revolution. The first Bulgarian book that shows how your personal transformation is a prerequisite for the transformation of the system. Because you cannot awaken others while you are still asleep yourself.
After reading this book, you will understand why all your professional exhaustion is actually suppressed potential for change. You will not just be a teacher, psychologist, coach, or parent. You will become an awakener—a person who catalyzes transformation within themselves and the children around them. And you will join the movement that is starting the educational revolution in Bulgaria.

About the Author
Elitsa Kostova knows what professional burnout is because she has lived it from the inside. As an IB teacher at the Anglo-American School of Sofia, she went through the crisis known to everyone who works with children—the moment you realize you are giving everything, but the system is broken.
Instead of escaping education, she transformed it. From the inside out.
Today, with a Master’s in Educational Leadership (University of London), an MBA in Human Resource Management, and certifications as a coach, NLP practitioner, and primal therapist, Elitsa has:
Transformed over 400 teachers through the programs of the Edu Compass Foundation
Supported 3,200+ people in individual programs and workshops for discovering one’s calling
Created “My Career Path”—a game recognized as the best innovative career tool in Europe (2020)
Founded Voca Academy—a platform for the transformation of professionals over 30
This book is not theory. It is the path Elitsa traveled herself—from a surviving teacher to an awakener of an educational revolution. And now she shares it with you.
