Part of the “My Career Path” program
An educational game with ready-made activities on values, success, goals and action
Helps students discover what matters to them, define what success looks like by their own standards and turn a chosen direction into a concrete first step.
The kit includes physical “Values” cards, instructions for students, a teacher’s handbook and online resources.
Use one, several or all of the activities, depending on your time and needs.

We often expect young people to know what they want from their future.
But before they choose a direction, they need to discover what matters to them.
That’s why “The Architect” starts with a few important questions:
Students don’t just talk about the future.
They start to see themselves as people who can make choices, create and act.
They compare different ideas of success and clarify what it means for them.
They explore what matters to them, how values shape their decisions and how their choices affect others.
They learn to turn an idea or direction into a concrete goal, plan a first step and take the initiative.
They turn the vague “One day I want...” into a more concrete direction, goal or skill to develop.
They don’t stop at reflection. They choose a concrete step they can take in their real life.
We often talk to young people about success as if it already had a ready-made definition.
A good profession. A good salary. Prestige. Security.
But before chasing someone else’s definition of success, it makes sense to ask yourself:
What does success look like to me?
In “The Architect”, students explore:
This way, success stops being a ready-made model and becomes something the student starts to build consciously.

In one of the activities, students are given a challenge:
To create a new society on Mars.
They have to choose the values they will build it on and discuss:
This way, concepts such as freedom, justice, responsibility, respect or growth stop being abstract words.
Students see that values have consequences and that societies, organisations and communities are built through the decisions of the people in them.
Having an idea or a dream is a beginning. The next question is what you can do about it.
It starts with the mindset:
I see an opportunity. I have an idea. I can do something.
In “The Architect”, students practise exactly this:
This way, they move from “it would be nice” to “here’s what I can do”.

A ready-made kit for working on values, personal success, goals and action.

“The Architect” can be used according to your goal and the time you have.
Choose a specific topic, such as values, success or goals, and work on it within roughly one lesson.
Combine topics according to the needs of the group: values + success, success + goals, goals + action.
Students move from the question “What matters to me?” to “What do I want to create, and what will I do?”
Students don’t listen to a lecture on values, success or goal-setting.
They make decisions.
Across the activities, they:
This way, big concepts turn into choices students can make for themselves.

Writing down a goal doesn’t automatically make it yours.
Before that, you need to know:
Why does this goal matter?
What lies behind it?
What kind of person do I want to be?
What do I want to create around me?
That’s why “The Architect” connects values, a personal definition of success, goals and action.
Students don’t just write down what they want to achieve.
They begin to understand why they want it and what they will do about it.

For the teacher
You don’t need to develop your own lesson on values, success or goal-setting.
You get the materials, the structure and clear instructions.
Students do the main work, while you:
Your role is not to tell students what their values or goals should be.
It is to help them think, choose and act.

The gamified activities are also suitable for parents who want to explore values and personal goals with their children through selected activities at home.

It is also the fourth set of gamified activities in the “My Career Path” program:
1. In the Mirror World
Critical thinking, self-knowledge and decision-making
2. The Alchemist
Interests, talents, strengths and career directions
3. New Horizons
Career research, new opportunities and critical work with information and AI
4. The Architect
Values, success, goals and action
Across the whole program, “The Architect” is the moment when students turn what they have learned about themselves and the world into direction and action.
But it can also be used completely on its own.
